Zeqa came after the summer of 2006 to us. She lived a part from here with people who had several dogs. All kind of types. These people let all their dogs run free, including Zeqa. Not wise in an environment with sheep to let a husky be free.....
The reason they had to replace her was that she had killed the neighbors sheep. Since these people don't want to keep there dogs in a kennel, it was not a success that Zeqa stayed there. On the end of the winter, we came in contact with these people and they thought directly that with us it would a nice place for Zeqa ....

She had never worked in a harness, but it was a young dog, so we thought it would be no problem. The background (parents etc) on her pedigree, we didn't new, but it was a young and enthusiastic dog ....
When we started training we put her directley in training with te rest. She worked as if she never had done something else.... The first year she was directly in lead (not in the first team, but in a following team, because it would not be great for such a young dog...) She did so well and has not been away from lead. She is also stable if it comes to work.

In the kennel she is a sweet dog, especially for people. We ha to look good where whe should put her in the kennel because she did not accept everyone. But since she have here buddies it goes very well. She is not annoying to the dogs in the kennel next to her and she can also quit well with several kennels in the playyard.
However, she have the annoying thing wenn we go for training and it is not here turn: she want to hold you wenn you want to go out of here kennel. This she do trough putting her mouth around your leg. She don't bite, but stopping you. Self you scare for the first time because you would feel her teeth.
With her heat, she was grumpy to other females. That's why we have her sterilized. What we have seen, would she not be a top husky, so we don't want to breed with her.

She is sweet and affectionate and a very hard worker!
