That you where not longer comfortable in your own skin was already clear. But also stop eating ..... That was really too much.
You looked tired though you were not quite 11.
Unfortunately you couldn't enjoy your retirement for a long time. This winter you where still working, and you where excited when we put you into the team, and even learned Quick somethings.

Nice cuddle you did until the last moment and when I took you out of the kennel, I got a little kiss (a typical Yemen kiss).

Yemen we bought from Anneliese Braun when he was a puppy. We had no choice in this litter, so the one who remained was ours. He was as puppy much back in the yard and hide himself between the trees... and that you could notice. He was a little shy of strangers, but also for the "big" dogs ... who liked to put a such scared puppy in a corner ... Later he plagued puppies himself.
After he had an overheating during a race (where all our dogs were fresh and had no problems), he has not worked as before. He was therefore no longer included in our competition team. Since we live here in Sweden he works as one of the best, most powerful dogs. We had no breeding plans with him, but now we find it unfortunate that we have done nothing to him in terms of breeding. We didn't had the wright bitches for him.
